# Toast (deprecated)

The Toast module enables sending notifications to loyalty members, keeping them informed about current campaigns, earned points, newly added rewards, or any news you’d like to share with your customers.

The toast message functionality is available through the implementation of the [Antavo Javascript SDK](https://developers.antavo.com/docs/javascript-sdk#/), which has been deprecated.

When triggered, the toast message appears for 8 seconds. However, if customers hover their cursor over the toast, it will remain visible until they move the cursor away.

You have the flexibility to place and design your messages in your webshop environment. We recommend placing them somewhere easily noticeable so that your customers won’t miss any important updates.
