# Reward claim notification

⚠️ Please note that the reward claim notification is no longer available for new implementations and is being deprecated. Please use the [Trigger marketing message](/v1/docs/actions#trigger-marketing-communication) workflow action to communicate with your customers.

The reward claim email is sent to customers when they redeem their points, or when a workflow assigns a coupon to their account. This email is triggered if you have [enabled notifications](/v1/docs/reward-claim-notification) in the reward editor settings

Follow these steps to customize the reward claim email:

- Navigate to the **Settings page** of the Management -UI
- Click **Emails** on the left side of the page
- Search for the**Reward is claimed** email in the email list
- Click the hamburger button and select the**Edit** option
- **Edit all the texts** using our WYSIWYG editor by clicking on the content of the email
- Use our built-in **HTML and CSS********editor** for further customization

Send yourself a **test email** to see how the email will look from a program member’s perspective. Click the hamburger button on the **Emails page** and click the**Test send** option.
