# Responsys

Responsys helps businesses create more effective, personalized marketing campaigns that engage customers across multiple channels. It is integrated into Oracle's larger suite of marketing and customer experience products.

Antavo’s Responsys integration allows you to synchronize customer data between the two platforms, make customer segments of Responsys available in Antavo, or trigger Responsys functions.

> [!NOTE]
> This integration supports **one-way synchronization**, meaning data can only be sent **from Antavo to Responsys**, and not the other way around.

To access the configuration interface, navigate to the Modules menu and search for Responsys integration in the list.

## Configuring the Antavo – Responsys connection

The setup of this integration requires inserting your Responsys API Base URL, username, and password. This is the same username and password used for logging into [Responsys](https://interact2.responsys.net/authentication/login/LoginPage).

Enter the credentials to Antavo’s Management UI and click **Connect**.

## Customer synchronization

Once the connection is set, selecting Responsys from the list of integrations allows you to select the customer data synchronized from Antavo to Responsys.

Click **Add new field +** to configure the field synchronization between the two systems.

- The items in the left column’s dropdown called **Loyalty fields** display the fields that are found within Antavo
- **Remote fields** represent the equivalent fields in Responsys
- Add more **field mappings** by adding new rows at the bottom
- Click **Save**

After saving, data from Antavo will be sent to Responsys to update contact data. The list of contact fields is obtained from your Responsys account.

Once a field pairing is created, it can only be reset after first deleting it by selecting the trashcan icon.
